Both options use condensed milk—a creamy, sweet substitute for fresh milk introduced during the French colonial era that remains a beloved part of Vietnamese coffee culture today. At The Rocks Marino, we substitute the phin-drip coffee with double espresso.

At The Rocks Marino, we’ve created our own take on this tropical favourite. Instead of the traditional phin drip, we use a double shot of espresso for a more intense, aromatic base. It’s then blended with:

• Coconut milk – for a rich, creamy texture

• Sweetened condensed milk – to add smooth sweetness

• Sprinkle of salt – bring out the bold flavours

The result is a bold and indulgent drink with a tropical twist—perfect for coffee lovers looking for something new and refreshing.
