About Our Family

The Rocks Marino Restaurant is a charming waterfront destination, ideal for intimate gatherings, special occasions, or a romantic dinner, accompanied by stunning views and a signature The Rocks Sunset cocktail.

Led by Tam, the restaurant’s menu is inspired by the vibrant flavours of the different regions of South East Asia, featuring dishes crafted with fresh flavours and Asian herbs like coriander, ginger, kaffir lime, turmeric, and many more.

Like a true family-run business, Anna oversees the back-of-house operations, while daughter Minh manage day-to-day operations in the front.

We both had the Vietnamese noodle bowl (one with tofu and the other one with chicken). It was delicious ? and very reasonably priced. The fresh watermelon juice was really tasty, too. Great that there is a range of gluten free options to choose from. ? I appreciated the attentive service from the moment I entered the restaurant and the chef even came over to our table to personally check in and see if everything was okay. The view from the balcony is stunning.? I can't wait to bring my family here and try more items on the menu. ?

My partner and I were greeted with the professionalism and attention you would expect from a high end restaurant. The staff were very well spoken, attentive and efficient.  Amazing to see from young people in their career development. My partner and I had the eye fillet steak and it was perfect! Mouth watering cut, cooked to perfection with a beautiful garlic butter topper. We paid $40 and it was worth every cent and more. The view is simply breathtaking and the parking easy. The building and decor is what some might call outdated, but honestly I think it adds to the charm. There isn’t many places where you can walk in off the board walk in casual attire and a have 5 star meal with incredible service! Thank you again guys, I’ll be back with the entire family next time ❤️
